Job Title: EVS Team Leader Department: Environmental Services

Job Summary:
The Environmental Services Team Leader is responsible for performing duties in accordance with established organizational policies and procedures for providing a safe environment, achieved by demonstrating the principles of cleaning, disinfection and quality assurance toward the reduction of harmful pathogens for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff. Supervises an area of responsibility for the EVS department; ensures a consistently high level of environmental hygiene and aesthetics to patients, visitors and staff. Monitors work flow and gives instruction to EVS Technicians as well as ensures adequate coverage for all areas and other Oswego Health facilities. Responsible to cover for EVS Technicians as needed. This position also is responsible for daily oversight of regulatory standards, financial stewardship of department operations and collaboration with other management and supervisory team members to support the department in its daily functions.
