Diagnostic Sonographer-Full Time Days

$20,000 Sign on Bonus

Diagnostic Sonographer- Medical Imaging, Oswego Hospital

The Diagnostic Sonographer will perform all diagnostic Ultrasound procedures.

As an diagnostic sonographer at Oswego Hospital the technologist will be responsible for performing all types of diagnostic sonographic exams on inpatients, outpatients and emergency room patients. The diagnostic sonographer will need to work closely with the Radiologist who is ultimately responsible for the exam. The candidate should have knowledge of all procedures and be able to produce excellent quality images. The candidate should be able to recognize common issues and be able to communicate with the Radiologist accordingly. The candidate should be familiar with PACS and be able to utilize reporting sheets to assist the Radiologist in reporting.

The position requires a person that is highly self-motivated with a desire to provide quality patient care while expanding services. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must. The position may require working at more than one campus and taking call as needed. The position requires a registered Diagnostic Sonographer thru American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Experience of 2-5 years is preferred.

Pay Range: $33.00-$45.00/hr

Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
